Sarah A. Salone is a Shreveport, Louisiana native. She is a graduate of Grambling State University, where she received a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing. After graduation in 2011, she started her nursing career and has maintained her Registered Nurse license for the last 8 ½ years. In her 8 ½ years, she has worked at facilities that provided extraordinary experiences. She completed her first two years at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport, LA and in 2015 she made the decision to relocate to Dallas Fort Worth to continue building and developing her career. In 2016, she decided to return to school and further her education as an advanced practitioner. Through hard work and dedication, she graduated and successfully passed the state board, obtaining a Certified-Advanced Family Nurse Practitioner Degree in 2019. Sarah has recently made the decision to enroll in the Doctoral Program at The Texas Women’s University, with plans of becoming a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner.
Outside of advancing her career and serving the community, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading, shopping, yoga, and traveling. As Sarah reflects back on the years spent in the healthcare profession, she is moved by experiences. She reminds herself of the commitment to healthcare and the commitment to be an integral part of the community.
